The key word here is RELAX!
This recently built cabin is off the grid but with plenty of comforts. For accommodations it has a main floor bedroom with a double bed, a sleeping loft with a double and a twin mattress on the floor, and a pull-out double futon couch in the main room and so allows for up to 6 guests. Linens and light summer blankets supplied. The roomy kitchen has a two burner gas camping stove, as well as an old fashion wood cookstove to take the chill off the morning air, and an interior sink for washing up. The outside firepit is perfect for hanging out and cooking as well. The cabin has a roomy screened in porch for dining, catching up, and games. Oil lanterns are provided but be prepared with your own flashlights and candles too. An outhouse with a wash-up area and an exterior shower supplied with a solar heated water bag complete the creature comforts. Fresh water is supplied in 5 gallon buckets by hosts. Bring your own towels and food of course!
Sited at the edge of a field and the woods there are logging roads to walk, local streams and creeks to paddle (we have a canoe available). This is an ideal central location to explore the midcoast Maine area. We are about 6 miles to a food or hardware store, or some tasty local eateries.

CookingThe kitchen area supplies all the basic cookware and utensils, including gas for the campstove, a sink, fresh water, a spare cooler, a french press for coffee.
